ROBERTO PRESTIA
SUBSTITUTE
Between the age of 16 and 19, Prestia went around his home town filming pretty much everything which would happen around himself.
Amateur footage, rough, taken with a mini-dv camera.
The following years Prestia started editing that footage, trying to make sense of his late teens.
The result is 'Substitute', a 70 minutes film about teenagers growing up and developing a relationship with their own image (incarnated in the camera).
This film is not available to a wide audience because some of the lead characters have not allowed Prestia to share the footage publicly.
And this is a shame. But some rough fragments are here available.
